If you are looking for “wine-savvy” hosts, then the Feldthurnerhof is the right place for you. We proudly call ourselves the “Vinum Hotel” and are one of just 29 hotels in South Tyrol. You don’t turn into a wine hotel overnight. It takes a great deal of commitment and consideration. To be given the Vinum predicate, you first need to be located in one of the seven wine-growing areas in South Tyrol. It is then essential to intensely study wine culture so you can be a true connoisseur for your guests. Once you have tasted all the varieties and vintages as a future Vinum host and leafed through the history of viticulture, you still have to create space for the fine wines. Because, in the truest sense of the word, a wine cellar with tasting room is one of the prerequisites.
